For more than 60 years, Jim Bandy has built his reputation on trust, service, and helping people protect what matters most. A licensed insurance professional in the state of Indiana since 1965, Jim has spent a lifetime working directly with families, homeowners, business owners, and individuals who needed honest guidance from someone they could depend on.

In the 1970s, Jim founded Bandy Insurance Agency, growing it into a respected multi-location business known throughout central Indiana. Today, Bandy Insurance continues to serve the community in Greenwood, Indiana, now operated by his son Jim Bandy and grandsons Dylan and Nick Bandy — a reflection of a family legacy built on integrity and long-standing relationships.

Jim remains licensed in property and casualty insurance, life and health insurance, commercial insurance, business coverage, and builders risk insurance, which he still handles part-time today. His professional background spans decades of real-world experience helping people navigate financial protection, claims, policies, and recovery processes.

But beyond insurance, Jim discovered a deeper calling: helping people recover money that rightfully belongs to them.

Several years ago, he founded Refund Expert USA with one simple mission — to help individuals, families, and businesses identify and recover funds they may not even know they are owed. Through persistence, research, and years of industry knowledge, Jim has helped recover hundreds of thousands of dollars on behalf of clients.

In an industry where people are understandably cautious, Jim’s history speaks for itself. Scam artists do not maintain an active professional license for over six decades. They do not build family businesses that continue for generations. And they certainly do not spend a lifetime serving the same communities year after year.
